Legal status and registration
Who the Hub is, in law.
The Start Bangladesh Hub is registered as Start Humanitarian Bangladesh Foundation, a national foundation established to hold the governance, funding relationships and legal responsibilities of the network. Registration matters practically, not ceremonially. It is what allows the Hub to receive pooled donor funding directly, to contract with members, and to be held accountable in Bangladesh rather than through an intermediary in another jurisdiction.

Governance Protocol (2026 snapshot)
Sets out who decides what, and on whose behalf. Publishing it as a dated snapshot means the version that governed any given decision stays retrievable.

Accounts & funding
Annual reports, audited accounts and funding sources
The Hub publishes an annual report alongside independently audited financial statements, including the sources of its funding and expenditure by programme. Pooled funding only works if members and donors can both see where money went.
