The network

Thirty-nine organisations that govern the Hub, decide on its funding, and deliver its work — plus the openings to join, work with or supply the network.

Membership is governance, not a mailing list

Members are not recipients of the Hub's work. They are the organisations that decide what it does.

Every member organisation can raise an alert, sits in the assembly that sets direction, and is eligible for the allocation committees that decide how pooled funding is used. The network spans national NGOs, district-rooted local NGOs, community-based organisations, civil society organisations and member networks — deliberately, because a network of only large organisations would reproduce the problem it exists to solve.

Members maintain their own profiles: organisation name, logo, overview, website and contact details. The Secretariat maintains the fields that have to be consistent across the network — year joined, and the alerts an organisation responded to.
