Who we are

This website is operated by Start Humanitarian Bangladesh Foundation, trading as the Start Bangladesh Hub. Our full registered details are in the footer of every page.

What we collect on this site

• Information you give us directly: contact form submissions, newsletter sign-ups, and concern reports.
• Member account information, where you have one, and changes you submit to your organisation’s profile.
• Basic technical and analytics data about how the site is used, covered in our cookie notice.

What we do not publish

We publish aggregate reach figures for every alert. We do not publish data that identifies individual people who received assistance. Beneficiary data held by the Hub and its members is governed by our data protection policy, which sets a higher standard than this website notice because the risks are higher.

Raising a concern anonymously

You can submit a concern without giving your name or contact details. If you do give them, they are visible only to the safeguarding focal point and the Safeguarding Committee.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent for newsletter communications at any time. Contact details are on the contact page.

Photography and consent

Every person identifiable in a photograph we publish has given informed consent, and can withdraw it. If you appear in an image on this site and want it removed, contact us and we will act on that.
